The nature of Russian operations indicates intentions to cut off land connections between Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk in the near future, aiming to encircle the city while advancing toward the settlements of Rivne and Svitlye.
Air Assault units maintain control over enemy movements in the Krasnyi Lyman area. In the northern part of Myrnohrad, the enemy attempts assaults with small infantry groups, moving around the clock and using aerial drones to adjust their movements.
Ukrainian forces are reinforcing their presence in the city to protect the southern outskirts, where the enemy is trying to concentrate manpower for further advance attempts.
In the northeast of Myrnohrad, the 38th Separate Marine Brigade named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi captured four Russian occupiers attempting to storm the city. Three of them are former prisoners who signed military contracts. According to them, they spent four days in the basement of a nearby settlement without food or water before the assault.
After their capture, Ukrainian troops provided the prisoners with necessary conditions and assistance in accordance with international humanitarian law.
