Ukrainian Arms Manufacturers Present Tech Innovations of the 7th Air Assault Corps
During MiltechMeetUp‑2025, Ukrainian defense‑technology companies presented a number of innovative systems developed in close cooperation with units of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces. The showcased technologies included logistics ground robotic systems, fiber‑optic‑controlled drones, interceptor UAVs, and remote mining systems.
Developers note that cooperation with brigades of the 7th Corps began back in late 2022–early 2023. Teams worked directly with units that were ready to adopt innovations and test technologies in real combat conditions. During joint deployments on specific missions, specialists and servicemembers together evaluated the effectiveness of the solutions, refined them, and adapted them to the real needs of the front.
This approach made it possible to move from isolated experiments to building an integrated system of robotics within the corps—primarily in logistics, evacuation, and other high‑risk tasks where humans can be replaced by technology.
Among the key innovations demonstrated at the event was the Shooter “predator” drone, equipped with a recoilless six‑barrel system designed to intercept aerial targets, including enemy reconnaissance drones, FPVs, “Mavics,” and loitering UAVs. The system’s uniqueness lies in the complete absence of recoil, which significantly improves accuracy and operational stability.
The 7th Corps emphasizes that all these developments fit into the concept of the “techno‑air assault”—a strategy aimed at minimizing human involvement on the battlefield through the introduction of robotic systems, process automation, and the large‑scale use of high technologies. This approach reduces risks to personnel and increases the effectiveness of combat missions.
