A consolidated unit of the National Police of Ukraine was recognized for its dedication to duty, heroism, and significant contribution to containing Russian forces.

The officers received the Commander’s Distinction of the 7th Air Assault Corps as well as valuable gifts.

Brigadier General Yevhen Lasiychuk thanked the police personnel for the dedication and courage they continue to demonstrate in the combat zone.

The Commander of the 7th Air Assault Corps emphasized that, despite the difficult situation on the front line, strong cooperation between all units and effective operational planning have made it possible to hold back the enemy.

“On some sections of the front, active operations have even allowed us to regain previously lost positions,” Yevhen Lasiychuk stated.

Since the beginning of the year, the National Police task force operating in the Pokrovsk agglomeration has killed or wounded more than 400 Russian troops, destroyed or damaged around 10 enemy artillery systems, dozens of vehicles, more than 50 UAVs, and over 2,000 enemy shelters and fortifications.
