In October, the enemy doubled the number of assaults in the Pokrovsk agglomeration
Since the beginning of October, the enemy has increased pressure on the positions of Pokrovsk’s defenders and nearly doubled the number of assaults.
Last week, within the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Response Corps, AAF, the occupiers carried out 97 attacks, compared to 55 in the first week of October.
The enemy continues to apply pressure from the flanks – in the areas of Kotlyne and Rodynske.
Pokrovsk’s defenders are holding their lines and destroying enemy infantry, making full use of available forces and assets.
Since the start of October, our troops in the Pokrovsk agglomeration have eliminated nearly 800 russian soldiers, with another 450 wounded.
Last week, Ukrainian forces destroyed 13 reconnaissance drones – 9 more than during the previous period. Pokrovsk’s defenders also shot down 43 strike drones – an increase of 9 compared to the earlier week.
It should be recalled that in our area of responsibility, the enemy had long avoided open attacks, relying instead on infiltration tactics. However, in October, its activity intensified. In recent weeks, there has been a noticeable buildup of armored vehicles, and last week, for the first time in several months, the enemy employed armored equipment in the Myrnohrad area.
