Among them were eight servicemembers of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces from three brigades: the 25th Separate Air Assault Brigade, the 79th Air Assault Brigade, and the 81st Airmobile Brigade.
The servicemembers had been held in captivity since 2022. Yet imprisonment and abuse did not break the defenders. They endured and have finally returned to Ukraine, where their families, friends, and the entire Air Assault brotherhood have been waiting for them.
Welcome home, brothers. We are glad to have you back on your native soil.
