Since the beginning of the new year, the enemy has been increasing pressure across the Pokrovsk agglomeration. Unable to break through Ukrainian defenses in frontal assaults within the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces, the enemy is attempting to maneuver around positions, in particular via Hryshyne and Rodynske.
Over the past two days, the enemy has carried out continuous assault operations near Hryshyne, deploying infantry and light vehicles. Most attacks are conducted at night to minimize their own losses.
Meanwhile, units within the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Response Corps are holding the approaches to Hryshyne. In total, over the last two days, the Defense Forces have eliminated more than 30 enemy personnel and destroyed up to 10 units of light equipment, including motorcycles and buggies.
There have also been attempts by the enemy to operate in small groups of 6–8 personnel moving north of Pokrovsk. All movements are detected and neutralized by the Defense Forces using available resources and assets.
Situation in Myrnohrad
The situation in the Myrnohrad area remains difficult. Units of the 7th Rapid Response Corps, together with the 14th Rapid Response Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Chervona Kalyna”, are focusing efforts on controlling the northern part of the city, containing the enemy in central districts, and preventing the enemy from moving vehicles from the southern direction.
On the eastern outskirts of Myrnohrad, the enemy is attempting to establish positions, but the Defense Forces maintain control.
The 7th Rapid Response Corps continues to hold designated defensive lines and destroy the enemy during any attempted breakthrough or flanking maneuver.
Additional units from the Air Assault Forces Grouping, assault units, Ground Forces, SBS, Navy, Special Operations Forces, SBU, National Guard, and National Police continue to participate in the defense of the Pokrovsk agglomeration.
