The enemy has intensified efforts to encircle Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad with so-called “pincers.” Russian forces have increased pressure from the settlements of Kotlyne and Rodynske. Units within the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces, together with other components of the Defense Forces, are countering these enemy plans by conducting enhanced aerial reconnaissance and laying additional mines along likely enemy advance routes.
At the same time, the Russians continue attempts to advance in small assault groups from the northwest of Pokrovsk toward Hryshyne. When trying to infiltrate the outskirts of this settlement, the Defense Forces detect and destroy the enemy.
Recently, to the north of Pokrovsk, an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group was spotted in the area of local farms. As a result of counteractions, Ukrainian servicemen detected and eliminated the enemy.
Overall, over the past week, the Defense Forces have killed or wounded 255 Russians, destroyed or damaged 19 vehicles and motorbikes, 29 drone launch points, 36 shelters and depots, and 575 strike drones.
