According to Corps Commander Yevhen Lasiychuk, for many people, motorcycles and the open road are a way of life. For a paratrooper, however, they carry a special meaning.
“Above all, it is about brotherhood forged in fire and through difficult trials. It is about freedom, choice, and constant movement — always staying one step ahead. It is about character, that same unbreakable paratrooper spirit, hardened in battle and impossible to break,” said Brigadier General Lasiichuk.
Membership in the Air Assault motorcycle club is open exclusively to active-duty servicemembers and veterans of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces. One of the organization’s first priorities is to visit and support wounded comrades undergoing treatment in hospitals across Ukraine.
Bringing together the Corps’ active-duty servicemembers and veterans — this is how the president of the newly established motorcycle club, Chief Sergeant of the 7th Air Assault Corps Vitalii Pyskun, described SEVEN’th SONs’ main goal.
“For servicemembers, it is a breath of freedom after difficult combat missions. It is a chance to spend time doing what they love: motorcycles, rock music, and a picnic in nature,” the servicemember said.
Representatives of all brigades and battalions of the 7th Air Assault Corps, as well as bikers from well-known motorcycle clubs, attended the first SEVEN’th SONs motorcycle picnic, including:

Rock and punk bands provided the soundtrack for the event, while a tent camp was set up on site, featuring an improvised shooting range, a drone control station, and a simulator for destroying enemy targets.
