Colonel Kolodii has actively participated in combat operations in eastern Ukraine since 2014, taking part in the liberation of settlements from the occupiers.
Last year, the commander of the 79th Air Assault Brigade of the 7th Air Assault Corps became the second service member in the Armed Forces of Ukraine to receive the Cross of Military Merit twice.
We thank the state for recognizing Colonel Eduard Kolodii’s significant contribution to defending Ukraine’s independence, as well as his combat experience and leadership as Commander of the 79th Air Assault Brigade of the 7th Rapid Response Corps.
