Today, the 7th Air Assault Corps is changing the rules of the Russo-Ukrainian war by introducing advanced technologies on the battlefield. Every day, the Corps’ units launch more than 500 combat drones, while ground robotic systems carry out thousands of missions each year.

The anniversary was celebrated in Dnipro. To mark the Corps’ founding anniversary, an event was held under the motto “Make the Wind.” These words best capture the spirit of the Air Assault Forces: to act swiftly, decisively, and ahead of the enemy.

Commander of the 7th Air Assault Corps Yevhen Lasiychuk spoke about the development and prospects of the “Techno-Desant” concept.

“Our future lies in combining rapid decision-making and high levels of combat training, expertise, and innovation. A technologically advanced army is not a temporary tool, but a permanent guarantee of the existence of a free Ukraine, where human life is the highest value,” Brigadier General Lasiychuk emphasized.

The event was attended by servicemen of the 7th Corps and guests, including Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Olena Kondratiuk, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Hanzha, Head of the Regional Council Mykola Lukashuk, and Deputy Mayor of Dnipro Andrii Denysenko.

“Every day and every night, you stand on the front line protecting the peaceful lives of Ukrainians. I believe the 7th Air Assault Corps now looks exactly like a modern Ukrainian army should,” the Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada said.

Dozens of soldiers, sergeants, and officers of the Corps received state and departmental awards. Brigades and battalions were recognized in unique categories reflecting their combat history.

For their active support of the Corps, letters of appreciation were presented to the “Come Back Alive” Foundation, Starlight Media, the Association of Ukrainian Cities, and manufacturers Airlogix, Deviro, Skyfall, Vyriy, among others.

The event concluded with a concert by Kozak System.
