The meeting focused on studying the combat experience of units of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces, gained during the Russo-Ukrainian war. The parties also discussed the development of military cooperation between the two countries.
The partners discussed the current situation in the Corps’ area of responsibility, effective approaches to countering the Russian army, and the use of advanced technological solutions on the battlefield.
Commander of the 7th Air Assault Corps Yevhen Lasiychuk briefed the visitors on the specifics of combat operations, the use of cutting-edge technologies in combat command and control, and the development of Middle Strike capabilities.
“Thanks to new strike capabilities, units of our Corps are systematically targeting the logistics of the occupation forces deep behind the front line. We are constantly working to combine the combat experience of the Air Assault Forces with the advantages of modern technologies,” the Brigadier General emphasized.
Particular attention during the meeting was given to the development of the 7th Corps’ unmanned systems and their role in increasing the effectiveness of units during combat missions.
Following the meeting, Yevhen Lasiychuk and Christian Freuding identified priority areas for further cooperation and agreed to deepen bilateral collaboration, particularly in exchanging technological expertise, developing advanced military capabilities, and implementing innovative solutions.
