On the Kupiansk direction, the 77th Separate Airmobile Nadniprianska Brigade of the 7th Rapid Response Corps thwarted an enemy attempt to carry out an assault using the “Soyuz” gas pipeline. The enemy tried to use the pipeline for a concealed approach and to accumulate forces.
The enemy operated north of Novoplatonivka, in the direction of Nova Krugliakivka and Zahryzove. About 50 personnel were involved in the Russian breakthrough attempt.
The 77th Brigade detected the enemy’s intentions in time and, in coordination with adjacent units, stopped the assault. At least 40 enemy personnel were confirmed neutralized.
As a result of the operation, the enemy failed to achieve their objectives, and the situation in the brigade’s area of responsibility has been stabilized.
In the area controlled by the 77th Separate Airmobile Nadniprianska Brigade, the enemy continues to act in small groups, attempting to infiltrate between positions. Their actions remain under constant monitoring by the Defense Forces and are being suppressed.
Units of the 77th Separate Airmobile Nadniprianska Brigade continue to carry out combat missions on the Kupiansk direction.
