Russian forces tried to use the logistics route between Shevchenkove and Pokrovsk to concentrate additional troops and equipment.
The enemy deployed more than 30 light vehicles, including motorcycles, buggies, and trucks.
Units in the defensive zone of the 7th Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces destroyed part of the equipment while the invaders were still on the march, notably with the help of M142 HIMARS. The rest were detected and neutralized by Ukrainian forces directly at the southeastern edges of the city, as the enemy sought cover.
According to available information, the 76th Russian Air Assault Division was involved.
The enemy’s goal is to increase pressure on the northern outskirts of Pokrovsk and eventually launch an assault on Hryshyne.
