Stabilization of the operational environment has begun in the defense zone of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces.
Additional forces and assets are being deployed to minimize the impact of enemy infiltration. Enemy attempts to advance along various sections of the Pokrovsk agglomeration defense line are being blocked. Organized efforts continue to locate and eliminate enemy groups that have penetrated the combat formations of subordinate units.
Efforts are underway to diversify logistical supply for Pokrovsk defenders.
The most challenging situation in the 7th Rapid Response Corps’ defense zone remains south of Pokrovsk. Enemy groups plan to expand the Zvirivskyi salient, but are currently rotating their forces due to losses.
The enemy is attempting to advance west of Pokrovsk and clearly aims to reach the northwestern outskirts of the city.
The nature of enemy actions indicates preparations to strengthen offensives to the south and southeast of Pokrovsk, attempting to secure small settlements within the agglomeration.
To achieve this, the enemy continues to rely primarily on infiltration tactics, expanding the “gray zone.”
At the same time, enemy tactical aviation has increased strikes on Ukrainian rear positions.
Over the past month, several occupation units have relocated from the south of the Pokrovsk agglomeration toward the Novopavlivka direction, but they have been replaced by other combat-ready units, including the 1487th Motorized Rifle Regiment and the 86th and 87th Separate Rifle Regiments.
Overall, since early October, Pokrovsk defenders have destroyed nearly 300 occupiers, with over 150 wounded, and the Defense Forces have shot down and neutralized more than 1,100 drones of various types.
