In the Pokrovsk area, there is an increase in small-arms engagements and rising losses among Russian units from direct fire. According to the Defense Forces, since the beginning of the month, 314 Russian servicemen have been eliminated in the city, and 71 more have been wounded.
Small enemy groups have also been spotted north of Pokrovsk. Several Russian infantrymen tried to infiltrate and secure one of the agricultural infrastructure sites, but Defense Forces units promptly destroyed the group.
According to military assessments, in the short term, Russian troops are attempting to reach the settlement of Hryshyne, located northwest of Pokrovsk. Unable to break the city’s defenses and use it as a springboard for further advance, the enemy is trying to bypass Pokrovsk.
At the same time, Russian forces continue unsuccessful attempts to pin down the defenses of Myrnohrad. Recently, Ukrainian units eliminated a GRU group operating in the city’s second echelon after sabotage teams, which was tasked with overseeing the actions of forward units.
Additionally, there is an increase in attempts by Russian forces to infiltrate Myrnohrad from the Krasnyi Lyman direction. Ukrainian defenders detect and destroy the enemy on the approaches to the city.
