Russian forces currently do not have the capability to capture Pokrovsk as a result of urban fighting. At the same time, the enemy spreads propaganda and disinformation about the alleged “capture” of the city.
The situation in the area of responsibility of Ukrainian units remains difficult. The enemy continues attempts to assault the northern part of Pokrovsk, but Ukrainian troops are carrying out defensive tasks and holding back its advance.
In certain sectors, the enemy is operating near logistical routes, but Ukrainian units respond effectively to its movements. Logistics remain challenging but operational. Expansion of logistical corridors continues, and several personnel rotations took place in the Myrnohrad area last week.
Various components of the Defense Forces are involved in the defense of the Pokrovsk area, including the Air Assault Forces, assault units, UAV units, Special Operations Forces, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the National Guard, and the National Police.
