Defense Tech Valley 2025 – an international investment summit organized by the Brave1 Defense Tech Cluster – brought together over 5,000 participants from 50+ countries, including Ukraine, Europe, the USA, the Middle East, and Asia.
The event was attended by 300 investors who personally evaluated the importance of Ukrainian technologies.
During the summit, domestic and international manufacturers showcased modern MIL-TEC products: UAVs, electronic warfare systems, reconnaissance systems, and robotic ground complexes.
The event also featured a series of thematic panel discussions. Viktor Kordon, Head of the Electronic and Cyber Warfare Department of the 7th Rapid Response Corps, participated in a panel titled “Futurology vs. Reality: Advanced Technologies Ukraine Needs to Defeat the Enemy.” He emphasized the importance of scaling up the use of drones in combat and the crucial role of ground robotic complexes in the current phase of the war.
He noted the need for state investments to scale up domestic drone production, which would lower costs and supply units with sufficient numbers of drones.
“What’s better: expensive drones or cheap but mass-produced ones? The most expensive thing is human life; no drone can compete with it, and we must not save on this,” he stated.
Organizers reported that Defense Tech Valley 2025 resulted in over $100 million in investments in Ukrainian defense technology.
