7th Air Assault Corps on the Situation in Pokrovsk Agglomeration

03/10/2025 12:00

In September, within the defensive sector of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces, Russian infantry losses increased by nearly 30%. Last month, Ukrainian forces neutralized 1,851 occupiers: 1,202 irrecoverable losses and 649 wounded. In August, our defenders neutralized 1,456 Russians: 928 irrecoverable and 528 wounded.

We continue to strike enemy armored vehicles, motorcycles, and automotive equipment. In September, the defenders of Pokrovsk destroyed three tanks, disabled 41 artillery systems and MLRS, and shot down or forced down 3,248 aerial targets — drones and fixed-wing UAVs.

This month, thanks to the introduction of specialized interceptor drones, 50% more enemy Shahed UAVs were neutralized in the skies over Pokrovsk compared to August.

The increase in enemy losses is not only the result of failed attempts to attack and seize Pokrovsk, but also of the coordinated actions of the defenders of the agglomeration.

We are studying the methods and nature of enemy infiltration operations. Based on the analysis, we are blocking attempts by new sabotage and reconnaissance groups to penetrate Pokrovsk.

Due to the effective actions of drone crews, we are increasingly striking Russian forces at their concentration points and on approaches to our frontline positions. We are gradually expanding the “kill zone,” launching FPV drones dozens of kilometers into the enemy rear. Strikes against enemy logistics corridors are being intensified.

If necessary, internal reserves are allocated to carry out assigned tasks.

In Zvirove, corps units are holding positions along the southern outskirts of the built-up area. Blocking lines have been established along enemy routes of movement. Strike-and-search teams are eliminating individual Russian groups that manage to enter the city.

At the same time, the occupiers have not abandoned attempts to encircle Pokrovsk. The enemy is increasing pressure to approach and attack Myrnohrad from the north and east. West of Pokrovsk, the enemy has gained additional opportunities to cut one of the logistics routes.

Units operating within the zone of responsibility of the 7th Air Assault Corps are repelling the enemy, acting in accordance with available forces and resources. The top priority remains the preservation of the lives of our soldiers.

The map shows the enemy’s intentions to encircle the Pokrovsk agglomeration.
