Medics of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces are studying effective management methods using the “Lean” system at the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.
The training, conducted under the Lean management system program, aims to eliminate inefficiencies in medical aid processes within the Armed Forces of Ukraine and preserve the lives of service members.
This leadership training program began in September 2025 and is designed for medical units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Defense Forces. The intensive course was developed by Kyiv-Mohyla Business School in cooperation with the “Razom for Ukraine” charitable foundation and the Armed Forces Medical Command. The program focuses on developing systematic managerial thinking and leadership skills among medical unit personnel.
The combined training lasts two months. In addition to core theoretical knowledge, medical commanders work with business trainers to analyze real combat experiences. The main goal of medical management under limited time and resources is to optimize all processes to preserve the life and health of service members.
“Any inefficiency in wartime costs the lives of our defenders. We break down our standard procedures and learn how to make them more effective,” said Alexander Falshchynskyi, Head of the Medical Department of the 7th Rapid Response Corps.
After completing the course, officers of medical services and departments will implement the acquired practices directly in the combat units of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces.
