“Weekend Challenge”: Civilians Experience Life as Techno-Desant Soldiers for a Day

During the “Weekend Challenge”, two dozen civilians spent a day acting as cadets of the Techno-Desant.
Participants learned about the Techno-Desant concept — a new combat tactic combining drones, robotic platforms, EW, electronic reconnaissance, and IT technologies. Instructors from the 78th Regiment, 7th Corps demonstrated modern technological solutions currently used by soldiers on the frontlines.
Ballistics representatives explained the importance of modern gear for mission effectiveness and showcased body armor, 6th-generation plates, and load-bearing vests.
Activities included:
- Firing automatic weapons
- Practicing responses to FPV drone attacks
- Grenade throwing
- Operating unmanned combat systems
- FPV drone piloting training
